SBI Clerk Exam

Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 20 to 28 years as on the specified date.
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination consists of 100 objective type questions for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. The questions are asked from three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.

Selection Process:
- The selection process for SBI Clerk exam consists of two stages – preliminary exam and mains exam. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear in the main exam. Final selection will be based on marks obtained in main examination.
- Candidates selected for the post of Clerk will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. Apart from the basic pay, the candidates will also be eligible for various allowances and benefits as per the rules and regulations of the Bank.
