# SSC CHSL

The SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment of candidates for various posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Postal Assistant (PA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Court Clerk in various government departments and ministries

**Eligibility Criteria: **The eligibility criteria for the SSC CHSL exam are as follows:

**Nationality:** The candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently in India.

**Age Limit:** The candidate must be between 18 to 27 years . Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.

**Educational Qualification:** The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university.

Tier – I Objective Multiple Choice Computer-Based (online)

Tier – II Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test

Tier-II will include three sections having two modules each Computer-Based (online)

Before beginning the SSC CHSL preparation, it is important to make note of changes in the exam pattern and syllabus. The modifications to SSC CHSL Exam Pattern are given below:

**SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern**

This is an objective exam that will be conducted online. There are 4 sections in the Tier -1 exam of SSC CHSL , with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks. The subject-wise details are given below:

- The performance in Tier-II would be included for preparing merit.
