Eligibility
Requirements Applicant must be Indian. For admission to undergraduate degree programs at the central institute, students must have completed 12th from a recognized board in the science stream.UG, General category candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in 12th class and SC/ST category must have obtained at least 45% marks. To qualify for PG a student must have an average grade of at least 55% in General category and 50% in SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
Age Limit
There is no age limit to appear for CUET. However, the candidates must fulfil the educational qualifications to be eligible for the CUET exam.
Exam Pattern of CUET
- Mode of Exam: The exam is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test).
- Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam is three hours.
- Number of Questions: The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is awarded four marks, and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Language of Exam: The exam is conducted in English language.
- Sections: The exam consists of four sections, with 25 questions in each section. The sections are as follows:

CUET Eligibility Criteria
Along with the admission notification, NTA will release the eligibility criteria for CUET 2024. So let us look at the eligibility requirements of previous years to have an idea of the same for CUET Coaching 2024.
- Candidates should score a minimum of 50% marks in their +2 examination in the General category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates should have taken up subjects in +2 depending upon the course they opt for.
- The candidate should be of Indian nationality.
- Candidates should apply to three Participating Universities with three options of the programmes selected under CUET.
- Applicants can apply for CUET while attempting the qualifying examination of the university. However, they would have to produce the passing certificate at the time of counselling.
